Everflow EF-301 | Aliphatic Polyurethane Finish Coat | (MPC-301)

EF-301 (Evershield-301) is a 3-component, high-solids, aliphatic moisture-cure polyurethane finish coat. It's a UV-stable, chemical-resistant topcoat with a refined satin finish, best-in-line abrasion resistance (0.02 g Taber), and aluminum-oxide slip resistance (~0.80 DCOF wet).Apply over a cured epoxy or urethane base. Ultra-low VOC (<10 g/L), CFIA/USDA recognized, and high coverage (~500 sq ft per gallon at 3.2 mils). A finish coat, not for bare concrete.

DESCRIPTION

When you want a low-sheen, slip-resistant finish that laughs off chemicals and traffic, EF-301 is the urethane topcoat that locks it down.

Evershield-301 (EF-301) is a 3-component, high-solids, aliphatic moisture-cure polyurethane coating designed as a UV-stable, chemical-resistant topcoat. Instead of a mirror gloss, it cures to a refined satin finish that hides scuffs and foot-traffic marks — and because it's aliphatic, it won't yellow under sunlight. It's the finishing layer that protects and beautifies a cured epoxy or urethane floor.

EF-301 is built to take abuse: it posts best-in-line abrasion resistance at just 0.02 g of Taber loss, plus excellent chemical resistance to guard the system beneath. Formulated with aluminum oxide, it delivers roughly 0.80 DCOF wet traction for genuine slip resistance underfoot — ideal for ramps, entries, kitchens, and wet-prone areas.

It's also one of the cleanest coatings you can specify, at under 10 g/L VOC — LEED v4 low-emitting and CFIA/USDA recognized for food-plant use. A 1-gallon kit covers about 500 sq ft at 3.2 mils, going down thin and even. EF-301 is a 3-part system (4 parts hardener A : 1 part resin B by volume, plus the part C powder); roll it with a urethane-grade roller in V-shaped cross passes, then re-roll in straight passes to avoid marks. It's a finish coat for use over a cured epoxy or urethane base, not bare concrete.

Key Features & Benefits

  • UV-Stable Satin Finish: Aliphatic polyurethane gives a refined, low-sheen satin look that won't yellow — ideal where high gloss shows every scuff.
  • Slip-Resistant: Formulated with aluminum oxide for ~0.80 DCOF wet traction and added safety underfoot.
  • Best-in-Line Abrasion & Chemical Resistance: Just 0.02 g Taber abrasion loss with excellent chemical resistance to protect the floor below.
  • Ultra-Low VOC (<10 g/L): One of the lowest-VOC topcoats available; LEED v4 low-emitting and CFIA/USDA recognized.
  • High Coverage: A 1-gallon kit covers ~500 sq ft at 3.2 mils DFT.
  • Goes Over Epoxy or Urethane: Apply as the finishing coat over a cured epoxy or urethane base.
  • 3-Component Moisture-Cure: Engineered chemistry for a hard, durable, weather-resistant film.
