The HTG floor grinders we carry

Five HTG machines from Xingyi, from a 22 inch single phase grinder to a 32 inch remote-control unit with autopilot. Every number below is printed on the machine's own product page. All run magnetic quick-change plates with trapezoid segments.

Which HTG grinder for which job

Start with the floor size, the power on site and the way in. The concrete floor grinder buying guide explains the method. For HTG:

• Garages, residential and small commercial. HTG-550 on single phase shop power. Soft start, an LED work light and a gearbox that comes off for lifting. See small and mid floor grinders.
• Same size, no power. HTG-550 GP on propane. At 22 inches it passes through standard doorways.
• Mid-size commercial. HTG-680 SP. A battery transport drive moves it on and off the trailer and across the slab.
• Large warehouse and industrial slabs. HTG-800P on propane when there is no electrical hookup, or the HTG-820RC on three phase, which grinds a programmed path while the operator stays off the deck. See large and industrial floor grinders.

HTG dust collectors and tooling

An HTG concrete grinder needs a collector sized to the head. We stock two:

The IVC-V3 runs a cyclone into HEPA on a standard outlet. The IVC-45P runs a cyclone into a Longopac continuous bag with no cord. For the electric HTG-680 SP and HTG-820RC, the product pages call for a larger HTG collector, the IVC-45L, which we quote on request. Both stocked collectors are in HTG dust collectors.

Tooling: HTG machines run magnetic quick-change plates with trapezoid segments. Tell us the slab hardness and what is coming off and we match the bond in the quote. For edges and corners, finish with an angle grinder and a diamond cup wheel.

Common questions

Are HTG and Xingyi the same grinders?

Yes. HTG is the Xingyi line of floor grinders, and HTG manuals are published by Xingyi. Search either name and you land on the same machines.

Which HTG grinder runs on single phase?

The HTG-550 on 220 to 240 V, and the HTG-680 SP on single or three phase 240 V. The HTG-820RC needs three phase. The 550 GP and 800P run on propane.

How many heads does the HTG-820RC have?

Four, 11 inches each, on a 32 inch path. Every other HTG machine here has three.

Is the price on the page what I pay?
