Our commitment

Latux Epoxy has been a family-run business since 2004. We sell to contractors, installers, and homeowners coating their own garage floor, and we want every one of them to be able to use this site. That includes people who browse with a screen reader, who navigate by keyboard instead of a mouse, who magnify the screen, or who need larger text.

The standard we build to

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We treat that as an ongoing commitment, not a box we have already checked. This site changes constantly as we add products, technical data sheets, and articles, so accessibility is work we keep doing rather than work we finish.

What is in place today

• Semantic page structure with real headings, so a screen reader can move through a page in order.
• Alt text on product photography and article images.
• Visible focus states, so keyboard users can see where they are on the page.
• Navigation that can be operated by keyboard.
• Color contrast in the main interface that meets the AA contrast ratio.
• Text that resizes without breaking the layout.
• Forms with visible labels rather than placeholder text alone.

These are in place, and we are actively working on the rest.

What we are still working on

We would rather tell you where we stand than claim a clean bill of health. Three areas are open right now:

• Older pages and product listings that predate our current standards. We are reviewing them in batches.
• Third-party app widgets we do not fully control, including the product review widget and the financing application.
• Captions on our video tutorials. Not every video is captioned yet.

Third-party content

Some of what you see here comes from outside services: reviews, financing, payment processing, and shipping tools. We cannot always control how those vendors build their software. We choose vendors carefully and we raise accessibility problems with them when we find them. If one of those tools is blocking you, tell us and we will get you what you need another way.

If any part of this site stops you from finding a product, reading a data sheet, or placing an order, call or email us and a real person will help you finish. We will take your order by phone, read you the technical information, confirm coverage and pricing, and arrange shipping. There is no separate process and no form to fill out first.

Tell us what broke

We want to hear about accessibility problems, including small ones. When you contact us, it helps if you include the address of the page (the URL), what you were trying to do and what happened instead, and the device, browser, and assistive technology you were using, such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, or screen magnification. That detail lets us reproduce the problem and fix it instead of guessing.
