What the Latux line is

Latux is a family business in Pompano Beach, in epoxy since 2004. We sell coatings from our counter and install floors in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties. The products in this collection carry the Latux name because they are what we reach for on those jobs: two clear 100% solids epoxies, the pigment that colors them, the tooling that preps the slab, and the hand tools that put the coating down. A crew can open one account and walk out with resin, color and tools on the same ticket.

Where each Latux product fits

LTX-100 or MONEY COAT CLEAR

Both are 2-component, 100% solids clear epoxies with the same printed strength, 18,400 psi compressive. LTX-100 is the flow coat: low viscosity for a metallic pour that needs open time to move, enough body to carry a full flake broadcast, and a build from 10 to 32 mils per coat. MONEY COAT CLEAR is the clear you pour over a finished metallic or flake floor for depth. Neither is meant to take sun on its own. Finish sunlit floors with a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat.

Pigment

Metallic pods go into a clear base: LTX-100, EF-Masterflow or PPC Epoxy 100. Solid Tone pods color EF-100, EF-150 and EF-155 for a solid floor. Pick a color on the metallic epoxy colors page, then shop epoxy pigments.

Prep and application

On an angle grinder, the 5 in cup wheel takes edges and tight spots and the 7 in covers open floor faster. For a whole slab, the grinder buying guide sizes a floor machine. More tooling is in cup wheels, and the rest of the hand tools are in application tools.

Flake

Flake is not a Latux product. We stock Torginol flake for broadcast floors, and the flake color guide shows the blends.

Training

The LTX Masterclass is a one-day, hands-on class at the LTX Training Center, with all materials included. Pick waterproofing, epoxy floor or urethane cement systems.

You are buying from the company whose name is on the label, and we are an authorized dealer for every brand we carry.

• Shipping. Free UPS Ground on orders over $150. Under that, ground is charged by weight. Pallets go by freight, quoted per job.

Where can I buy Latux epoxy?

How much does one LTX-100 kit cover?

150 to 481 sq ft per 3-gallon kit, depending on how thick the coat goes on. Builds run 10 to 32 mils per coat. The coverage guide works out kit counts.

How many metallic pigment pods do I need?

One 160 g pod per 3-gallon kit of clear base, or three 50 g LTX-800 jars. EF-Masterflow takes one pod per 4-gallon kit.

Does Latux install the floors too?

Yes, in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties. These are the products our own crews use.
