The PSI Poly-Tuff line at Latux

The PSI products we carry are liquid-applied elastomeric waterproofing: membranes that stretch with a deck and come back, for balconies, walkways, parking decks, plaza decks and below-grade walls. Contractors call it a traffic coating or a deck coating. You never buy one pail. A PSI deck is a primer, a base membrane, reinforcement at the cracks and joints, and a top coat, and every product on this page is one of those parts.

The names tell you the job. Enviro-Grip is a primer. P-Tuff, B-Tuff and T-Shield are base membranes. Top-Shield and Topshield are top coats. PTS covers the sealant and the detail membrane. Which PSI products are named in the Miami-Dade NOA

Miami-Dade County, Florida NOA No. 25-0604.15, expires 03/06/2031 (March 6, 2031), covers the Flexideck C-WD waterproofing system from Polytuff Systems International on concrete decks. Three products on this page are named in it: Top-Shield 5600EF as the top coat, P-Tuff Classic as the base coat, and the Enviro-Grip EP#2 primer, of which Enviro-Grip ep#2sc is the low-VOC grade. We supply PSI and we install it

The NOA requires the work to be done by a contractor licensed for roofing and waterproofing who is a manufacturer trained Qualified Applicator of Polytuff Systems International. Latux is on the Polytuff Systems International approved applicator list, so the company that sells you the system can also put it down. We install in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties. Outside those, we work with a network of installers across the US.

What is P-Tuff Classic?

The single-component, water-catalyzed polyurethane base coat of the PSI line. It goes on from a feather edge to 3 inches in one application, so it also fills ponding areas.

Does Latux install PSI deck coatings?

Yes, in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties. Latux is on the Polytuff Systems International approved applicator list.

Is every PSI product covered by the NOA?

No. The NOA names three products as parts of one assembly: Top-Shield 5600EF, P-Tuff Classic and the Enviro-Grip EP#2 primer.
