What the PPC line is for
The PPC products we carry do two different jobs. PPC Epoxy 100 Clear is a zero-VOC, 100% solids clear epoxy. It goes down as the clear base under metallic and flake floors, as a straight clear build in garages, shops and showrooms, or thinned out as a primer. PPC Krete is urethane cement: a four-component polyurethane mortar placed at 1/8 to 3/16 inch, built for floors that see steam, hot wash-down and freezer cold.

Where each PPC product fits
- PPC Epoxy 100 Clear. Grind or shot blast to CSP-2 to CSP-4. On a damp slab, go to Moisture Vapor Barrier first. Tint it with a 160 g metallic pigment pod for a metallic floor, or broadcast into it for a flake floor. Where sun hits the floor, finish with a UV-stable topcoat.
- PPC Krete. Shotblast to CSP 2 to 3, pour Slurry SL, then seal it with Krete Topcoat. Broadcast silica into the topcoat at about 0.4 lb per sq ft for a non-slip finish. Mix every kit whole. The slab needs no moisture test before it goes down. The urethane cement flooring guide covers when you need it and when epoxy is enough.

How much does one PPC Epoxy 100 kit cover?
150 to 200 sq ft per 3-gallon kit as a base coat, or 480 to 600 sq ft as a primer at 8 to 10 mils. The coverage guide works out kit counts.
Is PPC Krete the same as epoxy?
No. Krete is urethane cement, a polyurethane mortar placed at 1/8 to 3/16 inch and rated for 26.5F to 185F service. Epoxy is a film a few mils thick.
