DESCRIPTION
Pour up to 2.5 inches in a single lift and watch it cure crystal-clear — without the yellowing that ruins ordinary castings.
EF-195 is a 100% solids, two-component epoxy casting system built for deep-pour work. Cast up to 2.5” thick in one pour for river tables, encapsulations, and molds. Its long 60-minute working time and low mixed viscosity let the resin flow into tight crevices and around complex shapes while releasing trapped air, so you get a clean, void-free casting.
What sets EF-195 apart is its clarity over time: it offers superior UV stability and higher film hardness than typical casting epoxies, so finished pieces stay clearer and resist the ambering that plagues lesser resins. It's a true zero-VOC (0 g/L) formula — safer for indoor studios and shops — and when properly mixed and cured it meets Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) requirements for direct food contact.
Strong as it is beautiful, EF-195 cures to 11,900 psi compressive strength and 80–85 Shore D hardness for a hard, durable, polish-ready casting. Available clear and tintable with pigment or metallic packs, it's the choice for river tables, embedding and encapsulation, jewelry, and fine arts and crafts. Pour into your mold, wait 15–20 minutes, then pass a propane torch over the surface at a 45° angle to release any latent bubbles.
Key Features & Benefits
- Deep-Pour Casting (up to 2.5”): Cast thick river-table pours, encapsulations, and molds in a single lift.
- Superior UV Stability: Stays clearer and resists ambering far better than ordinary casting epoxies — keeps art and tabletops looking new.
- Long Work Time, Crystal Clear: 60-minute working time and low mixed viscosity flow into tight crevices with excellent bubble release.
- Zero VOC: 0 g/L VOC and LEED v4 low-emitting — friendlier for indoor studios and workshops.
- Food-Safe When Cured: Meets CFIA requirements for direct food contact when properly mixed and cured.
- Exceptional Hardness: 11,900 psi compressive strength and 80–85 Shore D for a hard, polish-ready casting.
- For River Tables & Art: River tables, embedding and encapsulation, jewelry, and arts and crafts.
