Built for the deepest metallic floors

Tuned for pigment movement
The flow profile lets metallic and pearlescent pigments travel and layer far more than standard-viscosity epoxy allows, for the deep, directional, light-catching patterns that define high-end floors.
Flows out glass-smooth
Advanced defoamers and surface additives maximize air release and self-leveling, so the pour finishes flawless, with no pinholes, craters, or fisheyes to ruin a decorative floor.
Holds its color
Cycloaliphatic chemistry resists yellowing far better than standard epoxy. For prolonged outdoor sun, topcoat with a UV-stable polyaspartic for full color protection.
Tough underfoot
7,200 psi compressive, 5,500 psi tensile, 80 to 85 Shore D, and just 0.1 g Taber abrasion loss stand up to real residential and commercial traffic.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is EF-Masterflow designed for?

It's a purpose-built decorative topcoat for creating metallic and pearlescent epoxy floors. It self-levels and contains defoaming and surface additives that keep pigments dispersing evenly and the surface flowing out glass-smooth.

How much pigment does a kit take?

One 160 gram pod per 4-gallon kit. Load from 160 grams up to 210 grams depending on how dense and opaque you want the metallic.

How is EF-Masterflow different from a standard epoxy like EF-100?

EF-Masterflow is engineered specifically for decorative floors, it adds advanced defoamers and surface additives for better air release, leveling, and pigment wetting, plus superior UV stability and the highest gloss (94.7 GU) in the line. EF-100 is a general-purpose base coat.

Can I use metallic and pearlescent pigments with it?

Yes, that's its purpose. It comes crystal clear and takes Latux metallic and pearlescent pigment for unlimited custom effects.

Is EF-Masterflow UV stable?

It has superior UV stability compared to standard epoxies thanks to its cycloaliphatic chemistry. For floors in prolonged direct sunlight, finish with a UV-stable polyaspartic or urethane clear coat for maximum long-term color retention.

How thick does it pour and how far does a kit go?

It's a high-build pour at about 40 mils, covering roughly 160 sq ft per 4-gallon kit, the thickness that gives metallic floors their signature depth.

Do I need a base coat under EF-Masterflow?

Yes, apply it as the metallic layer over a primed, properly prepared base. Diamond-grind the concrete to an ICRI CSP-2 profile and use a moisture vapor barrier where needed to prevent delamination.

How long until I can use the floor?

At 68°F you can recoat in 18 to 24 hours, return foot traffic in about a day, vehicle traffic in roughly two days, with full cure in about 7 days.

What is the working time?

30 to 40 minutes at 70°F. Mix only what you can place in that window and never let mixed product sit in the bucket, where it heats up and sets quickly.

Magic Mike Here: I am a massive fan of the product. The 4 gallons set up, makes it very easy to deploy more products while carrying around less containers of product. I like to use one kit per every 120 ft.² so 30 ft.² a gallon let it flow out. It is beautiful with bubbles. They are absolutely nonexistent and I would highly recommend this product to anyone. That’s thinking about using a metallic product on their floor, especially if you’re not familiar with the process. This is a very user-friendly Epoxy that I highly recommend.
