Everflow EF-135 | Super Fast Cure Epoxy Crack Filler (1 Gal Kit)
EF-135 is Everflow's super fast cure epoxy crack filler, a 2-component paste that fills horizontal and vertical cracks in concrete and takes foot traffic the same day. It bonds to concrete, masonry, wood, metal, and plastics, so one pail handles slab cracks, control joints, and wall-to-floor junctions before the coating goes down.

Pairs with
Run EF-135 into the cracks first, then coat over it with EF-100 or EF-Masterflow once it takes a recoat. Recoat inside 48 hours or sand the repair back to a uniform matte and vacuum the dust before the next coat goes on. On a slab with high vapor emission, put a moisture vapor barrier down before any of it.

What size cracks does EF-135 fill?
Coverage is rated on 1/8 inch by 1/8 inch cracks, where a gallon runs about 1,100 linear feet. Wider or deeper cracks and coves use far more. A wall to floor junction with a 1 inch radius takes a gallon every 38 linear feet, so estimate cove work separately from crack work.
How fast can I coat over the repair?
At 68 degrees F you can recoat in 2 to 4 hours. At 86 degrees F it drops to about 2 hours, and at 50 degrees F it stretches to 6 to 8 hours. Recoat inside 48 hours or you have to sand the repair back to a uniform matte and vacuum the dust first.
Does it work on vertical cracks?
Yes. Both parts are a paste rather than a pour, so it stays put on walls and on wall to floor junctions. Spread it with a marginal trowel or spatula.
What is the working time after mixing?
5 to 10 minutes at 70 degrees F and 50% humidity. This is a super fast cure product, so mix only what you can place in that window and never let mixed material sit in the pail, where it heats up and sets.
How do I mix it?
Empty container B (hardener) into container A (resin) and mix mechanically for a maximum of 1 minute on a low-speed drill at 300 to 450 rpm. Longer mixing traps air and burns working time you do not have.
What surface prep does it need?
Remove dust, dirt, grease and oil with a proper cleaner or degreaser, then prepare mechanically to an ICRI CSP-2 profile by diamond grinding. The slab should be at least 3,635 psi compressive and 218 psi tensile, under 4% moisture, and at least 5.5 degrees F above the dew point.
Can I use it in a food plant?
It meets requirements for indirect food contact and use in food plants when properly mixed, applied and cured. It is also under 50 g/L VOC and qualifies as low emitting under LEED v4.
What temperature can I apply it at?
Between 50 and 86 degrees F. Below or above that range workability and cure times suffer. Keep ambient humidity under 85% during application and cure, and protect fresh material from moisture, condensation and water for the first 48 hours.
Is EF-135 UV stable?
No. The surface will discolor under prolonged UV exposure, so topcoat it where sunlight reaches. Exposure to propane combustion byproducts during cure can also cause amine blushing.
