Everflow EF-150 | Fast Cure Epoxy Resin Kit (3gal) | (MPC-150)

EF-150 (formerly MPC-150) is a fast-curing, 2-component, 100% solids, self-leveling, high-build epoxy floor coating. It cures in cold temperatures and on tight timelines — recoat in 6–8 hours, foot traffic in 8–12 — while delivering excellent adhesion and outstanding abrasion, impact, and chemical resistance. Its modified aliphatic chemistry reduces water spotting and amine blushing.Use it as a primer or binder on concrete and existing epoxy systems. Solvent-free, low-VOC (<50 g/L), and CFIA & USDA compliant for indirect food contact.

DESCRIPTION

When the temperature drops or the schedule won't wait, most epoxies leave you standing around a full day before you can recoat. EF-150 doesn't.

EF-150 is a fast-curing, 2-component, 100% solids, self-leveling epoxy floor coating built for jobs where time and temperature work against you. It cures in cold conditions — down to a 32°F (0°C) substrate — and lets you recoat in as little as 6–8 hours, turning a multi-day floor system into a one-day install. Foot traffic returns in 8–12 hours and vehicle traffic the next day.

Engineered as a high-build primer and binder coat, EF-150 bonds aggressively to prepared concrete or existing epoxy and anchors the most demanding floor systems — food plants, warehouses, garages, hangars, and showrooms. Its modified aliphatic chemistry reduces the water spotting and amine blushing that plague ordinary epoxies, while delivering serious mechanical numbers: 6,200 psi compressive strength, 5,500 psi tensile, 80–85 Shore D hardness, and a brilliant 93 GU high-gloss finish.

Zero solvent content means a full-thickness film build with no shrinkage and no off-gassing. With CFIA and USDA recognition for food-plant use and LEED v4 low-emitting compliance (VOC <50 g/L), EF-150 is cleared for the environments where compliance matters. Available in six stock colors and ready to top-coat with Everflow polyaspartics and urethanes for the gloss, color, and UV stability your project demands.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Fast-Cure & Cold-Tolerant: Recoat in 6–8 hours, foot traffic in 8–12; applies in low temperatures down to a 32°F substrate — keep projects moving in winter and on tight deadlines.
  • 100% Solids, <50 g/L VOC: Full film build with no shrinkage or solvent off-gassing; LEED v4 low-emitting compliant.
  • High-Build Primer & Binder: Use as a fast primer over concrete or existing epoxy, or as the binder for patching and resurfacing aggressive industrial floors.
  • Tough Mechanicals: 6,200 psi compressive, 5,500 psi tensile, 80–85 Shore D, and just 0.07 g Taber abrasion loss — built for warehouses, garages, and heavy traffic.
  • Reduced Blushing & Water Spotting: Modified aliphatic formula cures cleaner and more consistently than standard epoxies.
  • CFIA/USDA Food-Plant Recognized: Meets requirements for indirect food contact and food-processing environments when properly mixed and cured.
  • 6 Stock Colors, Top-Coatable: Clear, white, beige, black, light grey, and medium grey — finish with an Everflow polyaspartic or urethane.
