DESCRIPTION
PPC Epoxy 100 is a metallic-floor epoxy engineered to stay clear, with one of the industry's slowest tendencies to yellow.
PPC Epoxy 100 is a solvent-free, zero-VOC, virtually odorless, two-component epoxy coating built on advanced cycloaliphatic polyamine chemistry. That chemistry gives it industry-leading UV resistance and high color stability, which is exactly what a metallic floor needs. Keeping the resin water-clear preserves the depth, movement, and shimmer of your metallic pigment, so the finished floor looks as good in year five as it did on day one.
It is a versatile coating. Formulated primarily as a finishing coat, it also works as a base coat or self-priming undercoat. With Premera FP1 Fusion Primer, sound and stable surfaces need minimal preparation, with no shotblasting, grinding, or scarifying required, which means shorter downtimes and faster installs. Because it is 100% solids with no VOCs and virtually no odor, it is comfortable to install in occupied, indoor, and sensitive environments.
PPC Epoxy 100 is tough where it counts: 85 Shore D hardness, 7,800 psi compressive strength, excellent abrasion and chemical resistance, and an impermeable (0.1%), mold-resistant, high-density film that resists dirt penetration and cleans easily. It is rated Class I for flammability (not considered flammable) with a flash point above 200°F. Available clear and in five standard colors, it suits warehouses, showrooms, healthcare, retail, garages, and kitchens. Its UV resistance is best-in-class, but as an epoxy the color can still slowly shift under prolonged UV. For maximum outdoor and high-UV durability, finish with a UV-stable topcoat such as Premera T2 MCM. Intended for industrial use.
Key Features & Benefits
- Industry-Leading UV Resistance: Cycloaliphatic polyamine chemistry gives one of the slowest tendencies to yellow and high color stability, keeping clear and metallic floors brighter for longer.
- Built for Metallic Floors: A water-clear, high-gloss base that preserves the depth and movement of metallic pigment effects.
- 100% Solids, Zero VOC, Odorless: Solvent-free and virtually odorless, comfortable for occupied indoor spaces, with LEED eligibility.
- Self-Priming: With Premera FP1 Fusion Primer, sound surfaces need minimal prep, with no shotblasting or grinding required.
- Hard & Chemical-Resistant: 85 Shore D, 7,800 psi compressive, excellent abrasion and chemical resistance; impermeable and mold-resistant.
- Not Flammable: Class I flammability rating with a flash point above 200°F.
- Clear + 5 Colors: Use as a clear metallic base, a solid-color finish, or a self-priming undercoat.
