Everflow EF-280 | Polyaspartic Coating Kit (3gal) | (MPC-280)

EF-280 (Polyflow-280) is a solvent-based, two-component aliphatic polyaspartic polyurea topcoat — a UV-stable, non-yellowing clear coat for thin-to-medium build finishing over solid-color coatings and vinyl flake systems. Superior abrasion, chemical, and UV resistance with a crystal-clear, high-gloss finish, in a 3-gallon kit covering up to 600 sq ft.Fast-curing — recoat in 2–4 hours and reopen the space the same day. Flexible (40% elongation), low-VOC (<50 g/L), and CFIA/USDA recognized. A finish coat for use over a base system, not bare concrete.

DESCRIPTION

EF-280 brings the same UV-stable, crystal-clear polyaspartic finish in a 3-gallon kit that covers more floor at a thin-to-medium build.

Polyflow-280 (EF-280) is a solvent-based, two-component, VOC-compliant, aliphatic polyaspartic polyurea coating developed as a UV-stable topcoat for jobs with limited downtime. It is designed for a thin-to-medium build clear coat over solid-color coatings and vinyl flake broadcast (chip) systems, sealing in the finish and protecting everything underneath. Its larger 3-gallon kit covers up to 600 sq ft.

As a true aliphatic polyaspartic, EF-280 will not yellow or chalk, holding a brilliant, glass-clear high-gloss finish indoors and out. It provides superior abrasion, chemical, and UV resistance, with just 0.03 g of Taber abrasion loss to protect the color and flake beneath from heavy foot and cart traffic. It cures fast, too: recoat in 2-4 hours, return foot traffic in 4-8, and vehicle traffic the next day.

EF-280 is flexible and tough. It stretches 40% at break to resist cracking, pulls 5,150 psi tensile, and gives ~0.75 DCOF wet traction. At under 50 g/L VOC it is LEED v4 low-emitting and meets CFIA and USDA requirements for indirect food contact. It is a finish coat, so apply it over a prepared base system, not bare concrete. It comes crystal clear (tinting available, though pigmenting can reduce chemical resistance). Because the cure is quick, mix only what you can spread in 20-25 minutes.

Key Features & Benefits

  • UV-Stable Clear Finish: Aliphatic polyaspartic chemistry resists yellowing and chalking for a crystal-clear, high-gloss finish that lasts indoors and out.
  • High Coverage, 3-Gallon Kit: Covers up to 600 sq ft over an existing coating or 400 sq ft over vinyl flake, for more floor per kit.
  • Thin-to-Medium Build: Lays down a richer film than a thin-build topcoat for extra protection and depth.
  • Fast Return to Service: Recoat in 2-4 hours and walk on it in 4-8, so you can reopen the space the same day.
  • Superior Abrasion & Chemical Resistance: Just 0.03 g Taber abrasion loss shields the color and flake beneath.
  • Flexible & Tough: 40% elongation at break resists cracking; 5,150 psi tensile; ~0.75 DCOF wet traction.
  • Low-VOC & Food-Plant Rated: <50 g/L VOC; meets CFIA and USDA requirements for indirect food contact; LEED v4 low-emitting.
