Premera Easy MVB Moisture Vapor Barrier Primer
Premera Easy MVB is a single-component moisture vapor barrier primer, a water-based coat that reacts with the free calcium hydrates in bare concrete to form an insoluble barrier from the inside. It is built for installers who need to stop rising slab moisture before epoxy, so a coating bonds and stays down instead of blistering or pushing efflorescence through the finished floor.
Built to stop slab moisture

Frequently Asked Questions
What does Easy MVB do?
It reacts with the free calcium hydrates in bare concrete to form an insoluble internal barrier against rising slab moisture.
How much moisture can it handle?
It blocks up to 25 lb hydrostatic pressure and brings moisture emission under 3 lb per 1,000 sq ft over 24 hours.
How is it applied?
Spray two coats wet-on-wet at 3 to 4 mils with 50% overlap to saturation. It is single component with no mixing and no pot life.
When can I recoat?
Within 24 hours with no sanding. Past 24 hours, sand the surface to dull for a mechanical grip.
What surfaces does it work on?
Bare concrete, brick, mortar, and tile. It may etch glass and dull aluminum, and it is not for acid-contaminated surfaces.
Do I still need a moisture test?
Yes. Confirm the slab with a calcium chloride or RH moisture test first, since it is rated to bring emission under 3 lb per 1,000 sq ft.
