EF-155 | Super Fast Cure Epoxy Resin Flooring Kit For Metallics (3 Gal) | 100% Solids
EF-155 is Everflow's super-fast-cure 100% solids epoxy floor coating, a 2-component, self-leveling base that recoats in as little as 2 to 4 hours so a crew can build a complete epoxy floor in a single day. Its clear, fast-setting base makes it a strong foundation for metallic epoxy and decorative flake floors, and it doubles as a high-build primer over concrete or existing epoxy.
Super fast base for metallic and flake floors
Why 100% solids matters
| LATUX 100% SOLIDS EPOXY | HARDWARE-STORE EPOXY PAINT (WATER-BASED) | |
| Solids content | 100%, the whole kit becomes floor | 30 to 50%, the rest evaporates |
| Dry film thickness per coat | 10 mils or more per coat | 2 to 3 mils per coat |
| Hot tire pickup | Resists hot tire pickup | Common failure point |
| Expected life in a garage | Years of service with proper prep | 1 to 2 years typical |
| True cost per year of service | Lower over the life of the floor | Looks cheap up front, costs more in redos |

In the kit
- 3-gallon kit: 7.56 L resin (Part A) plus 3.78 L hardener (Part B)
- Pre-measured 2 to 1 mix ratio by volume
- Six stock colors: clear, white, beige, black, light grey, and medium grey
Pairs with
Broadcast decorative flake into the wet clear base, or use it as a fast base under a metallic pour, then finish with an Everflow UV-stable polyaspartic for color and outdoor durability. Because the set is fast, mix only what you can place in about 10 minutes, and diamond grind the slab to ICRI CSP-2 before you start.

Frequently Asked Questions
How fast does EF-155 really cure?
At 68°F you can recoat in 2 to 4 hours, walk on it in 6 to 8 hours, and drive on it in about 24 hours. Full chemical cure is roughly 7 days. It's one of the fastest-curing 100% solids epoxies available, fast enough to complete a full floor system in a single day.
What is the working time after mixing?
About 10 minutes at 70°F, much shorter than a standard epoxy because of the fast cure. Mix only what you can pour and spread within that window, and never let mixed product sit in the bucket, where it will heat up and set rapidly.
Can I use EF-155 for a metallic or flake floor?
Yes. The clear, fast-setting base is ideal for metallic and decorative flake systems because it lets you broadcast flake or apply your topcoat the same day instead of waiting overnight between steps.
Can I apply EF-155 in cold weather?
Yes, it cures on substrates down to 32°F (0°C) and can be applied from 32°F to 86°F. Workability is best at 50°F or warmer, with ambient humidity under 85%.
Is EF-155 UV stable?
As an epoxy, EF-155 will discolor under prolonged UV exposure. For sunlit or outdoor areas, finish it with an Everflow UV-stable polyaspartic or urethane topcoat such as EF-275 or EF-290.
How much floor will one kit cover?
A 3-gallon kit covers 480 to 600 sq ft as a primer (8 to 10 mils) or 200 to 400 sq ft as a wear coat (12 to 24 mils), depending on concrete porosity and profile.
What surface prep does EF-155 need?
Diamond-grind the concrete to an ICRI CSP-2 profile and remove all dust, oil, and contaminants. The slab should be at least 3,635 psi compressive strength, under 4% moisture, and at least 3°C above the dew point. Use a moisture vapor barrier where hydrostatic pressure is a risk.
How is EF-155 different from EF-100 and EF-150?
EF-100 is the standard 100% solids base coat. EF-150 is the fast-curing, cold-tolerant version. EF-155 is the super-fast-cure option, the quickest of the three, for same-day systems and the tightest schedules.
