The 25 Elite's replacement
Lavina no longer builds the 25 Elite. The 25R S7 takes its place in the remote-controlled line with a wider 26.5 inch path and more grinding pressure on a sealed S7 head.
Remote control
A handheld remote with a 4.3 inch color display drives the grinder and sets rpm, rotation and swing correction, while the screen shows voltage, load, hours and maintenance alerts. It also runs in manual mode.
Sealed, dust-proof head
Upgraded internals and planetary drive are sealed against slurry and dust, for a longer service life and less maintenance between jobs.
Tunable pressure
Integrated adjustable weights set 463 to 624 lb of grinding pressure, from aggressive prep through a controlled polish.

Pairs with a Lavina V25E or larger electric dust extractor, such as the V32E, plus Latux metal-bond and PCD tooling on the quick-change plates. Use blue PCDs and carbide scrapers on the left-rotating heads. Run the grinder, extractor, and tooling together for clean, high-output prep and polishing.

Does the 25R S7 replace the 25 Elite?

Yes. Lavina no longer manufactures the 25 Elite (L25REB) and lists the 25R S7 (L25RS7) as its replacement.

What power does it need?

Three phase, 200 to 240 V at 45 A, or the high-voltage version at 400 to 480 V, 30 A. Unlike the 25 Elite, it does not run on single phase.

Can I run it without the remote?

Yes. The remote drives the grinder and sets rpm, rotation and swing correction, and the machine can also be run in manual mode.

What dust extractor should I pair with it?

Lavina recommends a V25E or larger electric extractor, such as the V32E, plus Latux tooling on the quick-change plates.

How do I buy it, and what about freight?
